Study on the repair parameters for trailing?edge bonding failure of wind turbine blade in service

A numerical analysis method of trailing edge deboning is proposed in this paper. Using method, multiple repair parameters can be quantified by analyzing aerodynamic responses and structural characteristics the edge. This applied to three types edge, including blunt transitional pointed In study, are divided into two types, internal that affect bonding strength external stiffness shape. The main research steps as follows: First, a structure shell-body model was developed. Second, static tensile tests were carried out using 49 specimens, covering lap joint seven thicknesses. Finally, nine different repaired models developed Ansys/Fluent for each two-dimensional airfoil. 30–40 m section 71 blade used develop three-dimensional (3D) rotating with simulation results show parameters, overlap length slope adhesive joints, key improving performance addition, thickness range 1–10 mm proved experiment sufficient good performance. Besides this, influence height on pressure distribution lift coefficient much greater than width, torque power 3D 1.91% higher original blade. should further help provide an effective theoretical basis determining plan wind turbine
